Whether you’re building a collection, awaiting consolidated delivery, or simply prefer to store your acquisitions in a secure environment, our storage service offers a sophisticated solution designed around protection, convenience and peace of mind.
Purpose‑built for fine wine and spirits
Our storage facility is maintained with meticulous attention to temperature, stability and handling. While we take due care and reasonable steps to safeguard your Goods, collectors should be aware that, under our Terms, all stored items remain at the Buyer’s own risk. For this reason, we recommend arranging appropriate insurance for your collection, ensuring complete confidence while your items rest with us.
Flexible storage designed around you
30‑Day Consolidation Window
Every auction purchase includes the option to store your Goods for up to 30 days at no additional charge, allowing you to consolidate multiple acquisitions into a single delivery. This is especially convenient for frequent bidders or those curating a carefully staggered collection.
Ongoing Storage
Should you wish to extend beyond the initial 30‑day window, your collection can remain in storage for a modest monthly fee of $0.40 per bottle. Charges are applied on the 21st of each month to your nominated payment method.
Automatic Delivery Preferences
For new Members, Automatic Delivery Preferences are enabled by default — seamlessly holding and consolidating Goods for 30 days before dispatching them to your default address. If you prefer to receive your purchases immediately after each auction, you can adjust this setting with a single click in your Member account.
Managing your stored collection
Your stored items will appear in your Member account, allowing you to view what’s held, track Auction activity and manage delivery preferences. Goods covered by an Automatic Delivery Preference will be dispatched automatically. Items not covered must be shipped or collected before the 21st of each month to avoid storage fees.
Uncollected storage and overdue fees
If storage fees remain unpaid for 30 days after they are charged, LANGTONS may, after reasonable notice, cease storing the Goods and arrange for them to be resold or otherwise disposed of, in line with our Terms and Conditions. This is a measure of last resort and we will always attempt to contact you beforehand.
