A second chance offer may be extended when a lot has passed in because bidding did not reach reserve. In such cases, we may invite eligible bidders or watchers to acquire the lot at reserve, after the auction closes.
Who may receive one
A second chance offer may be extended to:
- Members who placed bids on the lot
- Members who were watching the lot
How long it remains open
Second chance offers are generally available for 24 hours after the auction closes. They are extended at LANGTONS' discretion and may not be available for every passed-in lot.
