A No Commercial Value, or NCV, assessment means LANGTONS has determined the wines are unsuited to sale.
This may be due to factors such as:
- poor condition
- limited market demand
- repeated failure to sell
- damage or presentation concerns
- other factors affecting saleability
What happens next
If your wines are classified as NCV, we will be in touch to arrange either:
- return of the wines, or
- disposal of the wines
If no instructions are received within 28 days, the wines may be disposed of, and the applicable charges may still apply.
The following fees will apply:
- Minimum handling fee of $6 per bottle will be charged for each bottle received and assessed for sale.
- Return shipping is charged at $23 per 12 standard bottles (or part thereof), if you choose to have the goods returned or
- Disposal is charged at $23 per 12 standard bottles (or part thereof), if you choose to have the goods disposed of.
The minimum handling fee applies in all cases. Return shipping or the disposal fee applies in addition, depending on which option you choose.
