What the Delivery Guarantee covers, how it is calculated and what is excluded.
LANGTONS offers an optional Delivery Guarantee for an additional fee.
Where selected, it may provide cover for eligible goods that are lost or damaged in transit.
How the Delivery Guarantee fee is calculated
The Delivery Guarantee fee is calculated in the cart at 1.5% of the value of the goods.
If you purchase the Delivery Guarantee
If eligible goods are lost or damaged during delivery, LANGTONS may:
- replace the goods, where available, or
- refund the amount paid for the affected goods
Information we may request
To assess a claim, LANGTONS may ask for:
- photographs of the packaging or damage
- proof of loss or damage
- return of damaged goods, where appropriate
- any other information reasonably required to review the claim
What is not covered
The Delivery Guarantee does not cover loss or damage arising from:
- incorrect delivery details
- unattended delivery requested by you
- delivery made in accordance with your instructions
- heat damage during transit
- minor cosmetic issues, such as label staining, where there is no material product loss
