Keeping your account details accurate and current helps ensure a smooth experience across buying, bidding, delivery and payment.
Why your details matter
LANGTONS uses your account details to:
- verify your identity and age
- process payments and refunds
- deliver your orders
- send order, auction and account notifications
- confirm settlement payments to sellers
Out-of-date details can delay deliveries, prevent bidding or hold up seller payments.
Details to keep current
Please ensure the following are accurate at all times:
- full name
- date of birth
- email address
- mobile number
- delivery address
- payment details (nominated credit card)
- bank account details (sellers)
How to update your details
- Log in to your LANGTONS account
- Hover over My Account and select Profile
- Choose the section you would like to update (for example, personal details, addresses, payment methods)
- Make your changes
- Click Save
Updating your preferences
To manage marketing, shipping and warm weather preferences:
- Log in to your account
- Go to My Account > Profile > Preferences
- Choose the relevant preference area, for example Auctions & Deliveries
- Update your selection and click Save
Updating your mobile for MFA
If you need to update the mobile number used for multi-factor authentication, please see Multi-factor authentication (MFA). You may be asked to verify the new number using a one-time passcode.
Updating your bank details (sellers)
Sellers should ensure nominated bank details are accurate before any sale, to avoid delays in settlement. See How and when will I get paid for sold items?
If you cannot update a detail
Some changes — such as legal name updates — may require verification. If you are unable to update a detail in your account, please contact our Customer Experience Team.
