LANGTONS can arrange international delivery for selected purchases on request. Because overseas shipping involves carrier selection, customs requirements and insurance, international orders are quoted and arranged on a case-by-case basis rather than booked through the standard checkout.
How to request an international shipping quote
To request a quote, please contact our Customer Experience team with the following details:
- your full delivery address, including country and postcode
- a contact phone number for the destination
- the order number or a list of items you wish to ship
- any preferred delivery timeframe
- whether you would like insurance included
We will then provide a tailored quote covering shipping and, where requested, insurance.
What a quote may include
Depending on the destination and order, your quote may cover:
- carrier and freight charges
- specialist wine packaging, where required
- insurance during transit
- export documentation
What is generally not included
International quotes typically do not include:
- import duties and taxes payable at the destination
- customs clearance fees charged by the destination country
- local delivery charges levied by the destination carrier, where separate
These costs are the responsibility of the recipient and will vary by country. We recommend checking your local import requirements before placing your order.
Restrictions and compliance
International shipping is subject to:
- Australian export requirements
- destination country import laws, including restrictions on alcohol importation
- carrier coverage and service availability
- Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations
Some destinations may not be serviceable, and certain wines or formats may be restricted depending on the country.
Delivery timeframes
International transit times vary significantly depending on destination, carrier and customs processing. Your Customer Experience contact will provide an estimated timeframe with your quote.
Risk and insurance
We strongly recommend including insurance on international shipments. Without insurance, risk of loss or damage during transit may not be covered by LANGTONS' standard Delivery Guarantee, which applies to Australian deliveries only.
