Where a refund is due, we move it through as promptly as we can. The timeframes below reflect what to expect from our side, and what your bank may add to that picture.
Once a refund has been confirmed
A refund is generally processed by LANGTONS within two to five business days of being confirmed. We refund to the original payment method, in line with our standard practice and the requirements of Australian Consumer Law.
Time at your bank or payment provider
Once a refund has left LANGTONS, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider:
| Payment method | Typical time to appear |
| Credit or debit card | 3 to 10 business days |
| Bank transfer | 1 to 3 business days |
| BPAY | 1 to 3 business days |
| PayPal | 1 to 2 business days |
These are typical timeframes. International cards, smaller institutions and weekend processing can extend them a little.
How to tell whether a refund has been processed
You can usually see a confirmed refund in:
- your email, in the form of a credit note or confirmation message
- your LANGTONS account, under your order or transaction history
- your bank or card statement, once your provider has applied it
If a refund was confirmed more than ten business days ago and has not appeared in your account, please speak with our Customer Experience team — we will trace it through.
Refunds and Vouchers
Where a Voucher was applied to the original order, the refund will reflect the amount you actually paid — not the face value of the Voucher. Where reasonably practical, and where the Voucher remains within its validity window, the Voucher will be reinstated to your account.

Worth knowing
A refund is a quiet matter — and one we would always rather move through promptly. If anything seems out of step, please speak with us. A brief conversation almost always resolves it.
