A valuation is the natural first step when considering a sale. While not always required, it is a step we strongly encourage — because it brings clarity to a process that should always be considered.
What a valuation reveals
A valuation may help you understand:
- the likely market position of your wines or spirits
- whether your collection is suited to auction, the Wine Store, or another channel
- how condition, rarity and provenance may shape value
Worth knowing
A preliminary estimate is offered as a guide — not a guaranteed sale price, and not a guarantee that the wines will be accepted for sale. Final acceptance, catalogue description and likely outcome depend on physical inspection and prevailing market conditions.
