LANGTONS hosts events for members, from tastings and producer dinners to specialist wine experiences. The following outlines how event bookings, refunds and cancellations work.
Booking an event
Event tickets can generally be purchased through the LANGTONS Events site or arranged with your Private Client Manager. Specific events may have their own terms and conditions, which will be made available before you complete your booking.
If you are unable to attend
If you or your guest cannot attend, please notify LANGTONS in writing as soon as possible — either via our contact form or by notifying your Private Client Manager directly.
Refunds depend on how much notice you provide:
| Notice given before the event | Refund |
| 30 or more days | Full refund of the ticket sale price |
| 14 to 30 days | 50% refund of the ticket sale price |
| Less than 14 days | No refund |
Booking fees and delivery fees are not refundable, unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
If LANGTONS reschedules an event
If an event is rescheduled, your booking will be automatically transferred to the new date.
- If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, please notify LANGTONS before the specified deadline for a full refund of the ticket sale price.
- If you do not notify us by the deadline, your booking will be deemed confirmed for the new date and refunds will not be available.
Please note that refunds for rescheduled events will only be available once the new date is announced, to allow time to finalise arrangements.
If LANGTONS cancels an event
If LANGTONS cancels an event, you will receive a full refund of the ticket sale price.
How refunds are processed
Refunds are processed to the credit card or bank account from which payment was originally received.
Wine condition at events
LANGTONS takes great care in sourcing and presenting wine for events. However, regardless of storage history, a wine can occasionally present faults unrelated to LANGTONS' handling (for example, cork taint). In such cases:
- a replacement bottle may be offered at LANGTONS' reasonable discretion
- no refunds will be made on the basis of an individual bottle presenting faulty characteristics
- only a LANGTONS representative can determine whether a wine is faulty
Photography and filming
By attending a LANGTONS event, you acknowledge that a photographer or videographer may be present. Photos and video taken at the event are the property of LANGTONS and may be used on our websites, social media and marketing materials. No compensation is payable for such use.
Changes to events
LANGTONS reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute event vendors, and to vary advertised programs, prices, venues and capacity.
