You may close your LANGTONS account at any time. Before we can finalise closure, we will need to settle a few practical matters relating to your bids, purchases and any goods we may be holding on your behalf.
How to request closure
To close your account, please contact our Customer Experience team:

- call us on 1300 946 347
- email service@langtons.com.au
We will action your request within a reasonable time, subject to the pre-conditions below.
Before we can close your account
We may need to defer closure where:
- you have unpaid invoices, storage fees or other amounts owing to LANGTONS
- LANGTONS is holding goods on your behalf (as a Buyer or Seller) that have not been collected, delivered or otherwise dealt with
- you have active bids on Lots that have not yet closed
- you have goods listed for sale by auction, in the Wine Store or via Client Services that have not been withdrawn or sold
We will work with you to resolve any outstanding matters before closing your account.
What happens once your account is closed
Once closure is finalised:
- your access to bidding, the Wine Store, Client Services and Members-only events will cease
- you will no longer receive marketing communications from LANGTONS (other than messages we are required by law to send)
- any active bids that have not yet closed will be withdrawn where reasonably possible, provided your account is in good standing
If LANGTONS is holding goods on your behalf
If we are storing goods for you at the time of your closure request, you will have 30 calendar days to:
- arrange delivery to a nominated address (at your cost)
- arrange Pick Up, where available
- instruct LANGTONS to dispose of the goods (handling and disposal fees apply)
If no instructions are received within that period, LANGTONS may cease storing the goods and re-sell or otherwise dispose of them in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Your information after closure
LANGTONS may retain personal information and transaction records after closure in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including for tax, regulatory and dispute-resolution purposes.
