A LANGTONS membership is the foundation of every interaction with us — from buying and bidding to selling, cellaring and the quieter pleasures of curating a Wishlist.
This article gathers, in one place, the essentials of holding and accessing your account.
Holding a membership
To become a Member, you must be at least 18 years of age. Joining takes a few minutes, and as part of the process we may ask you to verify your age.
For more, see Becoming a LANGTONS Member.
What your account allows
With an active membership, you may:
- bid at auction

- save items to your Wishlist and watch auction lots
- attend Members-only events
Signing in
LANGTONS applies multi-factor authentication (MFA) to every sign-in. Once you enter your login details, a one-time passcode is sent to verify your identity.
For more, see Protecting your account with multi-factor authentication.
Keeping your details current

- full name

For more, see Keeping your account details current.
Managing your preferences
A range of preferences may be managed directly in your account, including:

These are found under My Account > Profile > Preferences.
Account security
Your login details are personal and should be kept confidential. If you suspect any unauthorised access, please contact us promptly.
For more, see Protecting your account with multi-factor authentication.
If your account access is paused
In rare circumstances, LANGTONS may pause or terminate access where reasonably necessary — including in the case of a material breach of our Terms and Conditions, suspected fraudulent activity, or unresolved account verification. Where this occurs, we will be in touch with reasons and next steps.
You may request a review at any time by calling us on 1300 946 347.
Closing your account
You may close your LANGTONS account at any time. Before closure can be finalised, a few practical matters — such as outstanding invoices, active bids or wines held in our care — may need to be addressed.
For more, see Closing your LANGTONS account.
