At LANGTONS, settling your purchase is straightforward, discreet and tailored to the way you prefer to transact.
How you may settle
Depending on the purchase, payment may be made by:
- nominated credit card
- bank transfer
- BPAY
- PayPal
Wine Store and Client Services purchases
Settlement is generally taken at the point of sale, using your nominated payment method.
Auction purchases
For auction purchases with a total purchase price of $10,000 or less, your nominated credit card may be charged automatically once the auction closes.
For auction purchases above $10,000, you will be invited to nominate your preferred payment method within four calendar days of the auction close.
Your invoice
A tax invoice is issued after each purchase.
For Private Sales orders, your invoice will be issued within 48 hours. Invoices are available in your account transaction history.
If settlement is delayed
We ask that all auction purchases be settled within 30 calendar days of the auction close. Should an invoice remain outstanding beyond that period, LANGTONS may, in line with our Terms and Conditions, treat the matter as Buyer Default.
In such cases, we may cancel the sale, recover reasonable costs, or temporarily suspend access. We would always prefer to find a way forward — if you are experiencing difficulty, please speak with us on 1300 946 347 before that point. In most cases, an arrangement can be made.
